El Modernist EP Release Party

Join us for the debut of El Modernist's brand new EP "American."

FREE SHOW - 21 +

El Modernist delivers a new take on the world of indie rock. With pulsating hooks and lush melodic waves of psychedelia, the band combines upbeat, catchy garage-rock with a modern alternative hip-hop sound.

(Which is a fancy way of saying they sing and play guitars and sometimes raps happen and it's fun)

Founded in 2018, El Modernist brings you today's s**t.

Sometimes R&B, sometimes rock influenced, sometimes jazz enthused, the NXNES (pronounced "Nones")sound can change even within a single song. Both a producer and musician (specializing in guitars and bass), NXNES is no stranger to being behind the board or in front of it and very experienced in midi controllers, pedals, guitars, and basses of varying companies and styles. We are one, we are NXNES...come join us!

With lyrical grit, dynamic grooves, and atmospheric, yet driving melodies, Bendt has carved a distinctive sound into the face of modern rock. Formed in 2015, Bendt evolved out of the crucible of the Albany, New York music scene as a passion project between friends. Bandmates Matt Plummer (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Carl Blackwood (lead guitar and drums), and John Longo (bass) work to craft a unique presence, one that draws from their individual musicianship and shared love of hard rock, alternative, metal, and funk.
